A lake and golf community on Old Hickory Lake
Foxland Harbor is a master-planned community built around a golf course on the shore of Old Hickory Lake, the Cumberland River impoundment that wraps around Gallatin's south side. The community includes single-family and custom lakefront homes along with villas, townhomes and the Water's Edge condominiums, which were built in 2016.

The December 2023 tornado
On December 9, 2023, an EF-2 tornado crossed the Gallatin area, and the National Weather Service recorded EF-1 to EF-2 damage in The Club at Foxland Harbor. Around 600 homes and businesses in Sumner County were damaged that day. Wind damage like that rarely stops at the roof: once shingles, windows or siding are breached, rain follows into attics, walls and floors.

Water damage in attached homes and condos

Shared walls and ceilings A supply-line failure in one villa or condo can reach the unit next door or below within hours.
Appliance leaks from washers, dishwashers, refrigerators and water heaters, the most common cause in newer construction.
Vacant-home leaks Second homes and snowbird properties can leak for days before anyone notices.
Storm and roof leaks during spring and fall storms coming across the lake.
Working with owners and associations
In attached homes, the HOA's master policy and each owner's policy may cover different parts of the building. We document the source, each affected unit and the shared spaces separately, so the association, the owners and their insurers each have clear records. Ask your association where your unit's shut-off valve is before you need it.

Question not covered here? Call and ask. The phone is answered live day and night.
